As you may know, I completed this mod and it looks fantastic! Please see the DIY posted in this section. Several members have expressed their interest in doing this and in sourcingt the roof spoilers.

I bought these ACS Replica Spoilers [Roof + Tail] through Delsa Motorsports. Their C/S guy is a gentleman by the name of Alex. I have asked him to extend a discount to all E60/net Forum Members so please identify yourselves as members if you make this purchase.

I do not know what type of discount he will offer....I think it will depend on the volume but make sure you post your results so that we know what kind of care we are gettting!!! See the email below:

This is a great addition. It really makes a difference in the whole appearance of the car. It makes the lines of the E60 flow a little bit better, which is missing when you compare it to the E39.

I had mine painted locally, as I wanted a trusted source to do it. I paid around $80 to have it painted and mounted. the best part was having them mount it since this is what the body shop specializes in. No issues at all.

 

I want the roof spoiler as well.......and the M trunk spoiler.

 

I would get the M-Trunk Spoiler from Garry at BMW of Newport.

 

What would it cost? Does Gary sell the 166 wheels 2?

Got another email from Alex of Delsa...he wants us to contact him as a group so he can figure out a discount based on quantity. It seems like there are only a handful of people interested, so I'm not sure if this will work out after all, unfortunately. I may either buy from him via eBay, or just order a set unpainted and take them to C's guy for painting/mounting.

I actually like the Hamann trunk spoiler better than the AC style trunk spoiler. I think it's less obtrusive and more sedate, but there's only one guy selling the AC roof/Hamann trunk combo, and he's all the way in Taiwan...
