ACS handbrake for e60

My Ride: Mini Cooper
Here is step by step how to mod the ACS handbrake.
1. Tools that you will need is sissers, a square file and a plasic fasner.
[attachment=33259:attachment]
2. Take hold of the leather at the bottum of the handbrake and pull hard and it will come out.
[attachment=33260:attachment]
3. Take out the OEM handle but cutting the plasic ring.
[attachment=33261:attachment]
[attachment=33262:attachment]
4. You will see a kink in the metal tube.
[attachment=33263:attachment]
[attachment=33264:attachment]
5. So you will have to mod the ACS hand brake to fit it in. You need a square file to file some metal out so you are left with a grove on both sides.

[attachment=33266:attachment]
6. Slied the ACS handbrake in until it stop, it will not go all the way back, then use a alan key and the alan srew to titen it.

7. Put the leather back on to the handbrake and then use the plasic fasner to tieten the leather to the ACS handle.

8. Last push back in the plasic from the leather in to the hole

authentic ACS e brakes come with the notch already
