You will hear varying opinions on installation preferences. Some say the tape doesn't work well and they opt for the glue. I had a body shop install mine and they said not to use the two way tape as well.

Long story short....they messed it up...very messy install. They put waves in the spoiler from buffing/finishing and need to pull it off to correct (I'm told) and had dried glue visible along the outer edges of the spolier. I'm taking it back for the third time in the morning, I'll keep you posted. What a NIGHTMARE! I wish I had used the tape at this point since it's more forgiving. A $60 spoiler install may turn into a repainting of my trunk lid. :'(

Double sided tape is more than enough. I know from experience.

Thanks Car freak...I wish I had your advice before I read some others. One guy mentioned his spoiler flew off and it was installed with double sided tape. I think I'll try it after this fiasco gets resolved.....

Did you have a bad experience with glue?
