i have knocked so much money of my dealer that he will not include them or the fit kahn wheels which i have purchased seperately.
the story is that my local dealer said that he wants the local people to but from them and will beat any other deal that any other dealer is giving. So i went to small and not very sucessful dealer quite far away and he gave me 6% off. i took this quote back to my local dealer who i thought was going to beat it. At first he said that it is impossible and that they would be loosing money. When i left the dealer i got in my car, he came back and said that he will beat it.

Your car looks fabulous.
I love the black and silver number plate.
How did you fit the grill? How much did it cost - and what is the part No#?
Thanks!!!

Very understated, beautiful in fact.

they quoted me 140 sgd each side....so 2 pieces equates to 280 sgd.
on top of that the dealer had a 25% discount...i paid 210sgd which is about 123usd.
the installation was free though....the service engineer waived it for me. but like i mentioned earlier, i din fit it myself. they told me its difficult as it involves stripping parts of the bumper...i m not too sure honestly. n v sorry i dunno the part number friends.

I fitted the chrome grilles to my 530d and it was a nightmare job. On the diesel at least, there is no way to gain access to the grilles from the engine bay withouth dismantling a serious amount of the under hood plastic protection covers. The grilles themselves are secured wuth clips and these are incredibly hard to prize out. I used a long thin screwdriver wrapped in a piece of cloth but still managed to chip some paint.
This is not an easy DIY job.

My dealer replaced it before delivering the car. The easiest way.
