2005 530i Right Parking Lamp Malfunction!!!

Couple months ago, i got this message on the screen, found out the yellow ring light that dims around Xenon was not on.
So, went to one of the BMW dealers, purchased the light @ 47 dollars, but later the light was back on somehow!!!
Now, this light is off again.
Anyone knows if this is a lighting socket problem or the light bulb?
I still got the light bulb, but I do not know how to DIY.
help?

My Ride: 2005 530i, Premium Package, Grey Leather, Rear Euro Reflectors
Mine did the same thing today. Finished waxing the car and started it up and had the error message. I tapped on the headlight and it came back on! I hope my "fix" last a year also.
