I keep getting set backs each time I attempt to take out the swirl flaps.
Now the manifold doesnt want to to come off.
There is some sort of plug/sensor on the back of the manifold about 15cm down with two thin hoses attached to it.

There is another one on the back of the manifold near the top which on the guide I was following said that it only needs to be removed to make taking the end nut out easier.
But that is not attached to the housing of the manifold but this is not the problem.
There is another one about 15 cm down at the back and i cannot even see it to picture it so i know what im dealing with.
I can feel two hoses connected to it and there is no play and they are too short to be able to lift the maniold up a few inches so at least i can "see" if I have the swirl flaps or not!

Even my EGR valve is remarkably clean and is it supposed to have a cable connected to it? because mine doesnt. Again the guide i am following tells you to remove the cable, there is a picture of this cable just visible at the top but there is no cable on mine.
The only thing i have the striped vacuum hose.

So i had to put everything back and once again my missus thinks im some sort of joker!
anyone help?
thanks in advance

Take a picture of the intake manifold and post it here.
