Thanks for the quick response;
Unfortunatly since I have an 08 the ipod is actually through the armrest, not the glove compartment.
On the other hand, where in LA are you? I live in Newport Coast...

Is it true that if you have a cd changer then you cannot have an ipod interface adapter installed?

Instructions for use:
1. Open center console
2. swing center console phone holder up and out of way...
3. plug in Apple device.....
4. in entertainment section of iDrive select band labeled AUX
5. enjoy music

* if using iPhone you will get a message after plug in in to the dongle that if need to go in to air plane mode to work correctly... push no , you will not be able to use the phone or blue tooth if you hit yes, it won't cause any issues.

Also try the search function DIY section or Faq's is a good place to start.
