After reading many forums I've finally completed putting in oem bi-xenons into my e60 which came with stock halogen lamps (no adaptive headlights). Many of the steps were scattered throughout the many posts so I've put together the complete steps to save you guys time. First off, if you have the time and money, it was well worth the swap, total costs including parts and supplies were around $875, could've been less but i got kinda ripped off from the guy that sold me the lights. (told me it was complete with ballasts, bulbs and igniters, false! didnt come with anything)

1) cut the green wire coming from the socket in half (xenon light beam adjust feed), splice the end from the socket to the gray wire (angel eye wire, to get rid of error message) cause theres only one angel eye bulb.

2) connect the other end (the end going to ur xenon lights) of the green wire to the white wire (high beam feed) this would make your bi-xenon highbeams work.

3) splice the two fat brown wires coming from the socket together to give ur ballast ground

4) get a 4700uf 35v capacitor, connect the negative end to the brown wire and positive end to the yellow wire going to your ballast (gets rid of strobing effect and error messages)

if you dont want highbeams skip step 2, all this should take u nomore than an hour, took me two days to sort everything out lol...
hope this helps, well worth the trouble... also this is only for an e60 that came with no projector halogen lights.
seriously doubt i can make the adaptive feature work...

Last step....have fun adjusting the lights lol, took me awhile....

Hope this helps..
p.s. don't let the dealer see the inside of ur headlight capsule lol...bye bye waranty.....
Nice DIY! I'm sure many members will find this very useful. Thanks Trinh!

Anyone have any suggestions where to get a retrofit kit to do this? You guys recommend replacing the existing lights with xenon projectors or should i just replace the whole headlight? Found tons of different ballasts and ignitors... any suggestion which works best?

Thanks...
Mike

If any one want plugs from the BMW OEM retrofit kit just contact me. I have some remaining from when I used to use the LCI conversion kits to get the rear plugs.

Hey guys ... I am done with Pre LCI Halogen > LCI Xenon (non adptive) Conversion on my 2006 530i sport ... BUT, I did it a little different, therefore got stuck with a few things

Things I have done so far:
1. Installed LCI Bi-Xenon (non adaptive) headlights and LCI Tail Lights.
2. Used BMW Genuine Retrofit Cabling
3. I followed the same Wiring Diagram (Halogen to Xenon) as provided by "Milko75" in this thread.
4. Plus I installed LM2 (thats the extra bit), changed VO (added #0906 and $522) and programmed LM2 as per new VO.
5. Due to LM2 and coding, I didnt need capacitors and lights are stable, no flickering
6. High beam, low beam, eye brows and rear lights work fine

Current Issues:
1. Parking lights go off after 5-6 seconds
2. Indicators flah too fast
3. iDrive is full of errors, no single light is functional as per the iDrive

Do you guys have any clue how to get rid of these issues

Any will be highly appreciated. Cheers!
