What you mean green and grey wire together with a common earth? Have the wires get some earth somewhere?

Sorry, maybe stupid question..

Thanks

I have done wiring this way. I made xenon extra earth to halogen socket and all others inside the headlight.

Is there something maybe wrong?

Mine is similar, I earthed the xenon ballast to the 'extra earth' like on oem, and I didn't wire in the shutter but plan to do this. It looks OK

sounds like ur green wire goin to the gray wire might be loose, try checking that, otherwise everything looks good. shouldn't be getting the message.

Question

Hello
I have 528i 2008 which came with a standard hallogen lights. I retrofit it with bi xenon headlight. I just have one problem with the highbeam as in this model 2008 the outer light work both as low and high beams using the shutter. The bulb (35 watt) inside the inner light is used for the angel eye. So I connected the wire that goes to the high beam in the standard hallogen light directly to the shutter. It works the shutter could open the high beam from the xenon bulb but it gave me an error that the high beam light is malfunction. So I attached Capacitor (4700uf 35 v) to get ride from the message. Now the error message is not there when I siwth the car on but when I push the stack backward to activate the high beam the error message apear again and stay there until I swith the car off. When I push the stack toward me there is no error message. Also while I'm driving the high beam comes on for a second by itself whithout pushing anything. Is there any solution for it??
The xenon light and angel ayes works great without any error message.

Anyone have any suggestions where to get a retrofit kit to do this? You guys recommend replacing the existing lights with xenon projectors or should i just replace the whole headlight? Found tons of different ballasts and ignitors... any suggestion which works best?

Thanks...
Mike
