I have Alpine White and no need for anything J/K

I use Zaino and it's good, but it's really pricey. ($80ish for 3 bottles: wax, clearcoat and final seal)

I know Calton swears by Zaino which many have said is great, i have bottles of Meguiars professional glaze, paint cleaner and high yellow wax it leaves my car spotless when i detail. Its very affordable also.

the new nxt is supposed to be good i have used the wax and was fairly pleased

I too used Zymol on my old Porsche 996, and althought its comparable to doing a workout at the gym prepping and applying it - it's great, and really does get rid of swirls if you use the HD Cleanse properly (love that chocolate smell!). I used the best wax they sell, which i apllied with my bare hands (left them silky soft for days)

However, i used a product called "Supaguard" on it this weekend. I just washed the car off, applied it like a normal wax, buffed it off - and the thing is like a mirror now! I've never seen anything like it for such little effort!

I'll post some pics of my car once i have the wheels and the cheeky little Schnitzer roof spolier fitted and painted. Moonstone is growing on me as a colour too. I was set on Ruby Black, and when i went down there to buy the Ruby Black Individual with Platinum leather some arse had bought it whilst i was on my way down..

Moonstone was the only ex-demo left, and with a sweetener of a massive discount i handed over my money. I now love it to bits!

I've used detailers that use quite an array of product line upin the past few years. To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference from synthetic, carnauba / Zymol or Zaino. What did seem to make a difference was the person's technique and careful to attention - esp when using a buffer. But $7k for thier stuff is way way out in left field.

Definitely. Prep is the most important part. If the paint has contaminants, swirls, etc then it's not going to look good no matter what wax/sealant you use.

As for the ultra-high end Zymol stuff. I have no experience, but from the people I've talked to about them, they're worth it. I guess when you detail Ferrari's all day it pays itself off pretty quick.

No, i am not totally bloody stupid!

I used the "Atlantique" which has (allegedly) the highest Carnauba content.

As i said - good stuff.

Just wondering as you said you had the best Zymol wax and I'm always searching for comments on Royale since it's not something you can find lots of people owning.

Sorry - it was the 'best' my local Zymol dealer sold, and i therefore assumed it was the best they did!

Anyone that spends $7,000 on car wax needs taking aside and having a serious talk with!

LOL

How is the durability? I have heard Vintage being very durable and Atlantique and Vintage are supposed to be 1% difference in Carnauba content.
