Wash in the sun: Water spots

Wax in the sun:Swivel marks and an uneaven surface that does the job, but looks really bad.

Just an esthetic thing, really.

I believe the heated paint will make the wax more difficult to to remove. Which results in the appears of the swirl or application marks.

wax won't dry completely ( nor as quickly) thus harder to get off too

It's bad. For all the reasons above.
It makes for more work.

all are correct except the wax drying to quickly. i wont even spray wax in the sun. i pull my car into the sun after waxing. to get the truth of how well you have done, you gotta put some sunlight on it. then and only then will i walk around the car with a rag damp with spray wax and buff out inperfections...

this is a black car of course
