My Ride: 2008 535i, 6spd mtx, Monaco Blue w/Beige interior. Sport, Preimum, Logic 7/HD/I-Pod/USB, Nav sys, rear sunshade, HUD, PDC, Split seats,
Default

I have an '08 535 and noticed the dash is the slightest bit "sticky" from the factory....not like a coating or anything...just like the material is sort of sticky (if that makes any sense?). Anyway, it attracts dirt and I would like to use something more than a damp cloth to clean/treat it....any ideas? Also, I don't want a shiny dash that will reflect off the windshield.

You can use einszett Plastic + Vinyl Cleaner 'Plastik-Reiniger'

or

Einszett Cockpit for regular upkeep

i use 303 aerospace protectant and poorboys natrual look for dressing the dash, both dry to touch and leaving matt finish.

Have used the "Einszett Cockpit for regular upkeep" and can vouch for how good it is. Simply wipe on for a clean, totally matt finish. Nice 'factory fresh' scent too.......

Not to forget BMW's own Interior cleaner - really good stuff. And with the subtitle "mit frischer Luft". I mean who can resists that...?

Reccommend BMWs OEM cleaning solution. Really very good, leaves a nice shine without an oily residue you would get from somthing like....armor all..

Good to know information (Or not)
The dashboard skin material is PUR. Probably produced with spray technology, patented by Recticel.
