My Ride: 545I and a half dozen other rides
I'm going over my dad's older van while he is out of town, it is white, a little chalky like most neglected white cars get. Well I clayed it and decided to use this Turtle wax product called 'Ice' that I bought a while ago and was afraid to use on one of my black cars. I put it on and, well, it does not go on like a wax.
It's like a glaze but slicker, if it is possible to describe it that way. It does not haze up like a wax either, Looks like a oil and seems to feed the paint pretty good but what I'm really wondering is...
Is it doing anything good to the paint?
Is it a wax?
Will it protect it?
Should I put a wax on top of it?
Thanks guys.

It's a pretty mediocre car "care" product....it leaves a cheap oily layer on the car that washes off much too easily. I recommend using a good quality, yet affordable wax like "Mothers" or "Meguiars"
