What kind of polishing pad and machine i should use?

I am going to polish/wax my car when i come back...
i just wonder what kind wax and other stuff i should use... I know there are many products and cannot decide.
i used to do it by hand using mothers wax but takes long time...
so can anyone give me what kind of buffer machine i should use and what kind of pad and wax and other car products??

I suggest you purchase an orbital buffer like a Porter Cable. Reasonable priced, easy to use and to learn. And it's almost impossible to get any damage with it.
I use Lake Country pads as they are very good and very popular, so it's easy to get tips that are usable straight away without thinking how to apply the tip to your own products.
The same goes with the Menzerna and Meguiar's polishing compounds.

3m perfect-it ultra fine machine polish (purple bottle w/ blue top)
collinite insulator (#845) for a base wax (keep in refrigerator)
zymol creame or carbon for a top coat (keep in refrigerator)
