yes thats right, cleaning the windows with newspaper is very good. just use any glass cleaner.

And for wheels just use soapy water. If you use wheel cleaners, it might damage the wheels because they contain acids.
I was told this by Kahn. he cant be wrong, just look at his buisness.

I use a product by stoner called Invisible Glass. I use two terry cloth towels. One to spray the product into and wipe the glass and then one that is dry to buff the glass. Comes out perfect everytime.

FYI for all you detailing people.....All rags, towels, cloths you use on the car, they should be free from any fabric softener. If they are not it will cause streaking. :winkcool:

I use Tide Quick Disolving detergent. It's a powder but it breaks down immediately upon getting wet so there's never any possibility of granules being stuck in your polishing/cleaning towels.

I also just purchased, from a local janitorial supply company, an SC Johnson Commercial Line product called Windex Powerized (with vinegar, no amonia). For 32oz it costs less than $5. It works great, is cheaper and you get more product for the money and it's scented well. It's formulated for glass, chrome, plastic, porcelain, ceramic tile and enamel.

Another vote for STONER... Invisible Glass...with newspaper or micro-fiber cloth...best I've ever used.

Newspaper is great for use on glass. But... Do NOT use newspaper on window tint. Newsprint is paper, which is made from wood pulp. It is abbrasive.
Even tissue paper is abrasive. It will scratch window tint film.

I use Stoners Invisible Glass. It works great. No ammonia to harm my window tint.

I use soft, lint-free detailing cloths for windows.

Again.... NEVER use paper products on tint film. If you have window tint, then you can use newspaper on the outside.... but don't use it on the tinted surfaces.
