My salesman told me at delivery that I might see stains like this for a little while. He said it is from the Cosmoline they use to prep the cars with before overseas shipment. It is some kind of anti-corrosion treatment that they remove at the VPC. He also said that it would be worse in the heat because it will ooze from the door seals faster.

I took delivery in April and I have not seen this on my car since June. I don't ever trust or believe my saleman, but he seems right so far.
