Hi guys,

I have been using the Meguair's tyre black in a can for the past couple of years as it is the best one i had found for wet look tyres. I just ran out when i washed the car on the weekend and i thought i would ask if thee is something out there you guys think is better?

Cheers

I use AutoGlym Instant Tyre Dressing.
Actually it's not all-in-one product, more like a quick detailer for tyres. Not very expensive and one bottle lasts quite a long time.

I always apply with a brush, never use the spray.

I've been using Adam's VRT. Not as wet of a look as the Meguiar's gel, but it's water based and has absolutely no spin off. I love this stuff.

i used black magic tire shine and its the worst.. it slings all over the place even when putting one thing coat on the tires and letting it dry over night. i need one that doesn't sling.

The Meg's is good as once it is on the tyre it is on, no spraying on the fenders etc. If you touch the tye that is another matter, i have two year old who loves to touch the wheels and tyres and boy are his hands black after that. it not easy to get off either.

i use stoner's more shine, it has a matte finish for those who don't like the wet look.

I use mulligan's I believe is the brand but its name is HOT SHINE! and it keeps my tires looking wet for almost two weeks.

I've been using Meg tire gel, but non-glossy version, don't like the glossy cause it's too shinny. The Meg last me weeks, I often have to wash the wheel though the tires needs no dressing (yep even with dustless pads aftermarket).

The pro seems to like Adam VRT so I'll try that next time.
