Tailpipe trims are looking a littler tired on my cars exhaust system on my 525d M Sport. Does anyone have ideas on how to clean them? or better still possibilities of replacing them? My thoughts are the trims are welded ontot the exhaust tailpipes. Open to any suggestions

This is an existing thread. Sounds like it works.

I use 3M rubbing compound and it cleans up the exhaust tips pretty good.
