But the FLEX is supposed to be stronger and smoother, the PC runs up to 6800 OPM and the flex goes up to 9200 opm, IIRC
Really? Maybe we're talking about a newer model? Bc the flex I used this pass weekend definitely does not go up to 9200 opm. I believe it might have been the same as the PC around the 6K range.

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

hmm............well I would have to say that either you didn't use a 3401 (dunno what else you would have used) or maybe you just 'thought' it wasn't going up to 9K OPMs.

the FLEX is suppose to be alot quieter and smoother (less vibration) than the PC, which i could see leading you to think it wasn't as fast?

Here's a good video of comparing them, same pads & same polish

FLEX vs PC video

I saw that vid also, for me personally I thought it was a little too akward and heavy. I will say this the gear drive in it is nice and the uh progressive trigger i guess you call it...you set your max and then you can polish from low to your max...you dont have to keep switching speeds. Again for me personally I like the CCS 5.25 pads at 4-5 opm.

Remember its not the size, but how you use it

Enjoy it Kaiten!

Hmmm I guess its possible, but I remember reading the big FLEX logo on it hahaha and then reading the specs and it only showed up to 6xxx max. The flex is smoother but I'm assuming b/c it doesn't "orbit" like the PC does.

Anyways....lets not digress from the celebration of your new polisher!!!!

I sent you as I said CG Revive Polish, Final Polish and......the EZ Creme Glaze which smells great and acts like a wax, well you can use it as a prewax or sealeant. I am hoping I gave you enough of each sample. You should have enough to test on the hood.

White pad- all polishing
Blue pad- final polish
Red pad- glaze/sealents/ waxing

yellow pad- really really pad swirls etc..I never had anything that bad

you should have it tuesday!

Thanks Adam! I'm looking forward to using this on my car, i've never given her a proper polish.

Thanks again adam, it was a pleasure doing business with you.

See you on the forums!
