Removing the Cosmoline from the car

Cosmoline is used to protect the during shipment.

The best product to remove this stuff is Zymol Strik. It is their engine cleaner. You also have to buy the spray bottle because you diluted the Strik depending on how dirty of a surface you are cleaning.

Looks like that would be part of dealer prep.

I agree with JDN... the last thing I had to take Cosomlene off of was a Chinese MAK-90! I just disassembled it, and soaked in gasoline. Worked pretty good for me! But I really think that should be a dealer prep issue...

Yes the dealers do most of it but some usually remains in the creases and crevices.
