I have gotten in the frame of mind to do a good cleaning and waxing of my car and need help on deciding which products to use. My car is Silver Gray, A08, and the paint appears to be in pretty good shape to me. I've looked at a lot of web sites selling car products and as always it gets to be too much information. I have pretty much decided on Adam's or Blackfire and am looking for your opinions on these two. I am open to other suggestions as long as it isn't real expensive. I can get the Adam's Machine Polish and Machine wax for $45 shipped and the Blackfire kit for $85. I already have a clay bar and everything else I need so please help me decide on which polish and wax to get.

Tia,
Steve

I am a reseller of Adams products. I would not sell them if I did not like them. I have never tried blackfire. Also, you cannot beat the Adams customer service 110% guaranteed!!!

Good luck

OK PYIU, I just finished placing and order for a bunch of stuff. I got the Adams polish and wax, some interior cleaner, a brush and microfiber towels. That will be at my house tomorrow right?
Soon I will have the cleanest and best polished E60 in Atlanta.

It's hard not to keep adding more items on your cart when you keep seeing all phillips write ups. You'll enjoy your detail stuff steve.

The box is on the way. I'm guessing I will have it Wednesday or Thursday. Too bad I have to work next weekend. I won't get to check the goodies out for a while. I am actually looking forward to cleaning the car and seeing how good it will look.
Jack, you are right about adding more and more to the cart. It's like OK I got that maybe I should get some of this too. One thing I kind of wish I did get was the Adam's window stuff. Sounded like Rain-X but better. There's always a next time. Maybe I can talk myself into one of those foam guns too.

Yah, the foam gun has been on my list for awhile but the i went with Uber yellow wash sponge, grit gaurd for the time being. I think with the combo with yellow wash sponge with the foam gun and the grit gaurd would be a perfect combo for washing.
