I would clean the wheels again with acid-free wheel cleaner (eg P21s) and seal with jetseal109 or poorboy wheel sealant (2-3 coats)
Congrats with your new wheels btw

p21s then use Swissvax cleaner fluid and top it with Swissvax Autobahn for a very nice gloss and protection.

once mounted clean them weekly and build a nice layer for Autobahn every other wheel cleaning.

don't forget to clean the brakes and calipers as well, IMO when those are dirty it just takes away from the new shoes....

Seems others have chimed in with some great answers, and I must point one thing out.

While carnaubas are great, they're not my choice in wheel protectants, because they really don't have excellent durability on surfaces that become so heavily soiled with brake dust such as the wheels and calipers. The other members have correctly pointed to some popular synthetic sealants to protect these surfaces, and I second their advice.

My personal choice as a wheel/caliper protectant is "Rejex" soil barrier. Great stuff for wheels and high traffic areas.
