i was told by the detailer himself.. its not the sealant that is bringing the shine... its actually the polishing procedure....that cleanses the clearcoat free of any scratches that prevents you from giving the shine

when that pic was taken... not even a single swirl or tiny scratches can bee seen at all... polishing process was 100% perfect
Were you able to obtain what materials + process your detailer used? I'm wondering if he used Menzerna 106ff and then finished with the glaze + FMJ.

I've decided to use this product as the sealant, instead of my usual Zaino or Rejex.

FMINUS - You are the man! Thank you for all the friendly advice. My new detail job will be as follows:

1) Wash Car with NEW Foam Cannon
2) "Clay" using Ultima's NEW clay sponge, instead of the old clay bars.
3) Menzerna Intensive Polish
4) Menzerna Final Polish
5) Jetseal109 as the sealant

I will still continue to use Zaino Z8 Grand Finale Spray after the weekly washes, but I guess I'm not a Zaino user anymore.

I'm also going to use a Lambs Wool pad, along with microfiber bonnets to do the buffing with my Orbital. I will no longer be buffing down by hand...thank god!

Calton, I use the Chemical guys version of the clay block.
Done 4 cars with it now and it works excellent

Same thing at half the money

Do the foam blocks really work as well clay without all the sticky mess? It is my understanding that if you can accidentally drop them, you can rinse them off and they're good to go? What about using it on wheels? Can you still use it on your paint afterwards?

Yes, you can just wash them off and they do work exactly as good as normal clay.
Only tiny drawback is that they are slightly more difficult in very tight angled corners.
Otherwise you do the whole car in a fraction of the time you'd need with conventional clay

Thanks pal. I already have Ultima's version, but will get this when the Ultima bar runs out.

Any other tips? I'm really looking forward to the Foam Cannon to wash the car.
