i need some advise. spilled some soy sauce on the carpet at the back. i was saved mostly by the rubber floor mat but there was some stuff that spilled over the mat. whats the most effective way of cleaning it? i just dont want to make it look clean. i really want it to be clean all the way to the bottom of it, i wanna make sure that i get everything out. i think its already soaked thru. i dont know when it happened. just saw it 30 mins ago. a friend of mine suggested rug doctor. is that any good? please advise...

thanks! but i already got most of the stuff on the surface. i wanna get all the stuff out from the bottom. i know theres more coz when i use carpet cleaner then blot it, the paper towel turns brown even if the surface already is clean of all stains. so im 100% sure theres more, just cant see it, but its still annoying coz u know its there and it might cause some smell and who know what else.

Do you have a fluid extractor like the Little Green Machine?

Best time to clean up something like this is right after it happens. Having said that, use dish detergent in some warm water with a small scrub brush. Soak the area with the soap and water solution and scrub an area a little bit bigger than where the spill is located, blot dry with a towel. Repeat as needed. Air dry.
