I decided to get the car professionally detailed as the paint was covered in swirls and a few light scratches. The previous owner must have put it through plenty of automated carwashes. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy:

Looking sweet.
I need to get this done on my car too. May I ask how much it cost for the entire treatment?

Prices vary so much from detailer to detailer, and depends on what products they use. He had the car for three full days, sorted out the stone chips too.

Average price in the US for a paint correction on the exterior only runs around $400-$600, depending on the condition of the car and the color.

Damned your car did look bad star_man,

but now it looks like new again

My Mystic Blue '04 was pretty bad also, it's a sensitive color.
