I've never tried it. I have seen them use it on 'Pimp My Ride' before.

I have used flash car wash system. The same thing but rebranded for the UK market. I didn't really like it, no matter how much I sprayed the car, in the autodry setting it ended up streaky. They say 10 uses out of 1 filter for an average sized car, I got around 3 uses.

I have been using it for 6 months or so and like it very much. No problems whatsoever with streaking/spotting. The number of uses you get from the filter depends on the mineral contents of your water - I am still using the original filter that came with the device. Soap goes pretty quickly though...

Can any new system beat the old one?
First spray your dry car with a solvant - then powerwash it.
After this wash the car with a clean sponge and good car shampoo -
use lots of wather.
They powerflush the car again.
Use a windshieldwiper blade to get the car dry, finish with a clean
leather chamois.
If needed, wax it.

Using a blade on the paint is a BAD idea. You're more likely to scratch the surface. Chamois tend to strip wax away... making them a poor choice, as well.
For drying, only microfiber towels should be used.... with very light hand pressure. It's more work, but better for the paint. Besides, if your car has enough wax on it.... drying should be almost irrelevant. The water should bead up and roll off.

I like the system, although I don't think it is completely spot reisitant. I especially like being able to apply soap from the device rather than from a bucket.
