Well, last weekend I spent 5 hours cleaning my dads car.

I only use Meguiars products (as everything else is rubbish in comparison).

These were the steps:

1. Wash car (including wheels)
2. Clay car
3. Wash car again
4. Polishing (woops, was suppost to be paint cleaner)
5. Paint cleaner
6. Polishing again properly!
7. Wax car
8. Make tyres black
9. Megs metal polish on exhaust tip

Here are the results

Very happy with the results!

Matt

wow !

Awsome job, man !

Did you use a polish machine, or did you polish and vax the car by hand ?

I did the same thing with my dad's E60 during easter, but with Autoglym products

PS: Same engine and rims

Good job and very nice result!!! However, I would disagree with your quote regarding to other brands. Meguiars products is not #1, there are other products that will serve the same purposes with the same result.

Meguiars is very inexpensive and I have found the polishers and cleaners do their job well. The machine glaze polisher I highly recommend. Removed the swirls , and made the metallic sparkle even better. BTW from the reflection and shine I couldnt tell from here if it was Meguairs or Zaino.

You are most welcome to come over and do my car.
Although I would like you to finish mine with Rejex!

Anyway, nice job
BTW get yourself a decent t-shirt, or is that just work-clothing....?

It is a decent t-shirt mate, Wales Grand Slam Six Nations Rugby.

I think anybody that doubts meguiars should use it (properly). I can supply a little presentation file that meguiars gave me when I went to there UK HQ for the day.
