Have now successfully removed the leaf using chop sticks through the lower grill.
Must have blown in through the top grills! I would have thought BMW would have left a slot for anything like this to remove itself.

Beat you can can pick that slimy, muschroom in a heartbeat? I've got 30+ years experience with chopsticks and was going to recommend it to Merv.
I think its in the blood. My 11 month old's first skill was picking up falling hair from the floor with her fingers.

Speaking of chopsticks, heard an interesting radio show/conversation as to chopsticks on the way to the office this morning.
"According to government statistics, China currently makes and throws out more than 45 billion pairs of disposable chopsticks each year. Up to 25 million trees a year are cut down to make chopsticks".

Thats a lot of waste! But relax I used plastic chop sticks. They're now washed and back in the kitchen drawer never to be used again.
