Rub as much as u can off and then wax the rest of it off.

You can also use lighter fluid. I've used it many times with excellent results! Good luck with your Goo!

WD-40. Let it sit for about ten minutes and it will gel-up. Then wipe off, hit with spray detailer or a little soapy water, wax.

I've read this some place else but thought I was imagining stuff ... but I just found this on good old wikipedia.

"Cleaning objects affected by grease, caked-on dirt or adhesive residue (such as that left behind by sticky tape)"

So, Ill give this a shot tomorrow and let you know of the results !! Thanks

It might take a couple of applications, but let the WD-40 do the work. There's no need for much work on your part. It's also great for removing price-tag goo from things, and especially sticker residue from windows. Good luck. Cheers, Calvin

Thanks Calvin. Its gone 11pm here so I'll try this tomorrow morning. Just hope its dry like today (as you know, us brits get Cr@p weather!)

some gas , some warm water on a rag...wax after. comes off easy. you can use it on tar and bugs too.
