What are you using to clean them? I (like apparently the whole forum) use Lexol and I don't have that problem, my seats aren't even glossy afterward but ooooh does it bring back that European leather smell that I love.

+1 I use their Z-9 Leather Soft Spray Cleaner, then Z-10 Leather in a Bottle.

Last night the Mrs. got in the M5 and said "yum, your car smells like a saddle!"

I agree the smell is the best out there, plus you don't have to buff the hell out of the seat like you do with some products. I use the same z-9/10 combo. I've got 2 kids and the light seaspang bronze merino ventilated leather and Zaino keeps it pristine!

Another Zaino Z9/10 fan here also. The smell is perfect for a Euro car

What exactly does the leather care ( cleaning & conditioning) do? Obviously it keeps it clean but does it also keep your leather seats looking as new as possible?
On my previous car I had black dakota leather and I never applied any leather cleaning or conditioning on it except for occasional wipe down with a clean wet towel and the leather seemed to look fine.
The back seat which was hardly ever used looked new after 3 years.
