hi

i would like to detail my car too but i am too bored to do a "handjob"

could you tell me which orbital you bought, or suggest me a good one?

thanks!

Check out autogeek.net, they have a complete orbital package with pads etc I think they call it "the ultimate detailing machine", others here who are much better versed in the art of detailing will likely have a different perspective , but for the few times a year you will need to do a complete detail this kit works very very well....... good luck

Have heard Flex makes good (Orbital) DA polisher, if i remember correctly, it should be called XC 3401.

Otherwise as westcoast550 says, UDM will be a good choice, as good as the Porter Cable 7427.
However, the Meguiars G110 will be the newest, most powerful and least vibration compared with UDM and the old PC, the quality and the on/off switch has been improved as well.

But what i'm talking above are all 110v, you will need a stepdown transformer and change the plug in order to get it worked if you are using 240v in Greece.
The ONLY DA polisher in 240v is what i've bought, the Meguiars G220 model. Same as G110 but in 240v.

See what i've posted eariler:

After being tempted by FMINUS and other members on the forum, I decided to do it myself. It took me 6 hours to finish all three steps... everything has been done by hand... no ORBITAL!!

Please let me know what you think and what in ur opinion could have been done better
Looks great. Must have been pretty hot there in Saudi.
