how to get rid of 2 week old water spots? HELP!!
#1
so i left my 2 month old jet black 530i parked in front of my buddy 's house during his 4th of july bbq. his sprinklers turned on and soaked the car. I didn't have time to clean it ASAP, so water spots formed on the trunk and hood. Today (about 2 weeks later) I tried washing it, polishing it with meguire's paint cleaner and polish. I didn't have time to wax the car yet since it got dark. SPOTS ARE STILL THERE!... it's driving me nuts.......
any suggestions on how to get these things off before i got insane????? thanks for the help guys

meguires polish isn't that much of an abrasive polish u need a stronger one.. go to www.topoftheline.com and order their heavy cut leveler. its one of the strongest polishest out there but is not a compound and is still clear coat safe..it should definatly do the trick

I would try rinsing wiht deluted vinegar first, then clabar, then work your way into polishes such as 3M swirl mark remover, finsihing glaze, compound. This shoudl do the trick. Hope this helps. Please let us know how you make out.

Get Mr. Cleans Auto Dry wash system, worked for me! but i did not have water spots to begin with. but give it a clean wash then clay bar it, takes out the imperfections.
