Thumbs up

Yesterday I found what seemed to me as a scratch on my black 545, but after a close look it appeared to be white paint from another car, most probably caused by door-hit.
At first I tried to clean it with a wet napkin, but it was too sticky so I stopped to avoid scratching my car?s paint.

Anyone please,
How can I safely remove/fix that kind of scratch ?

I think with a scuff situation, the besy way might be a clay bar.
Jimbo provided some excellent tips and driections on ways to remove scratchs and chips. Follow the link to the post. It should give you some help.

Do you have a pic?

If it's just a paint mark, I think a some polish with minor abrasiveness will take it right off. If there is also an actual scratch, check the link above.

If it's just sticky and won't come off with soap & water, I would try a bit of wax before something more agressive like polish or clay. Might just be tree sap or something in which case the wax would act like a mild organic solvent and take it right away.

Give it a shot of WD40. Works wonders for some residues and won't hurt a thing.

Kerosene is also supposedly a good agent to remove something like this, though, it might be a bit too gentle compared to the WD40. Also polishing the area that has been hit with e.g. Autoglym's super resin polish could easily remove a lot of the paint.

The answer is gasoline!!! This happened to my 745Li... It will take the paint right off it and not scratch or take off ur existing paint... Im tellin you it will work wonders... then put polish on top of that and then some wax should be good as new
