I have a procedure to refinish my headlights that involves wetsanding the headlights, followed by a polishing compound, followed by Mequiars PlastX cleaner and polish.

Do I need to add any type of sealant to this procedure? If so... details would be appreciated.

plastX should protect , i usually go with rejeX on top and it made the headlights look better than new and easy to clean the bugs off it next time.
