Hi folks!

This time I got a brand new car on my hands; Ford Focus Wagon 2011.

The red metallic paint was amazing. Too bad it was raining slightly, the sun would have brought it up all differently.

Case was simple and all that I had to do was giving it a good wash and sealing the paint plus extras.

The process:

1) Pre-wash:
- Bilt-Hamber Autofoam

2) Wash
- Turtle Wax Big Orange
- Two bucket method + sheepskin mitt

3) Sealants
- AutoGlym Super Resin Polish
- Finish Kare 1000P

4) Others:
Tyres:
- Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance Tyre Gel

Windows:
- AutoGlym Fast Glass

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Before:

Sure it wasn't very dirty at all:

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Wash:

Autofoam it!

Sheep it!

Very slow sheeting .

I used a LED torch to check the paint and couldn't see any swirls. I guess they weren't part of the accessory package this time!

Thanks guys.

Milko, I'm sure you would love these;
- Dodo Juice Diamond White or
- Dodo Juice Supernatural

Dodo Juice waxes are so easy to use. Absolutely the best hard wax that I've ever used.

I think one or another is enough !

Some polymer based liquid sealant would be great also to be put on the surface before the Dodo Juice, I think...

I use the Carlack68 NSC also and it's a great cleaning sealant to work with.

Is OptiSeal such polymer-based sealant? I bought it for glasswork sealing, but realized lots of people use it on the paint as well.

Also, do you know by any chance if I can put FK1000P (being synthetic) on top of the OptiSeal? I bought it primarily for the wheels, but again lots of people use it on the paint as well for a long-lasting protection.

Thanks!

Yes, the OptiSeal is a polymer based product, and I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to top it with the FK1000P.
I've put FK1000P over several different products and never had a problem.
