After taking my car to get a hand wash, I decided to clay and polish the car myself. I have been reading some of the posts by others who use products such as swissvax and am very impressed with the results. I was thinking to myself, do these products really make a difference? As I was about to place an online order, I notice the $300.00 price tag!!!

I guess the swissvax can wait until next time. Meanwhile, I used The Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit and Turtle Wax: Ice Paste Polish. Here are the results. Let me know what everyone thinks.

Thanks, claying is pretty cool. I waxed my car once before, but it didnt' feel totally smooth.
After claying, the car feels like a babies behind!

Looks good, took me 6 months before I clayed my car (first time I had any of my cars clayed), will definitley do it again...I had a mobile service come to my work and do it...cost me $70 (including tip) for wash, wax, clay, and he even steamed the engine....

Looks good...Nice and clean and shiny. Were you able to get the swirl marks out with the wax you used?
