Not sure when this happened. I have not driven my E60 in many weeks. Just drove it this weekend. Came home late both times around 2-3 AM so really did not inspect car. I drive my other car to school everyday. This morning I hopped in the E60. As I was backing out I noticed something white on the hood....brushing it off I drove off and it started "scaling". I was like and pulled into a nearby gas station. What I saw made my FURIOUS. Some dick egged my car. It was all over the hood and right side of the car. I tried rubbing it off but it would NOT budge.

I was running late so I hurried to class. My car sat outside in the sun all day. I was filled with worry. As soon as my last class finished I quickly drove to this detailing place near me, they tried washing it off and it would not come off. They wanted $250 service to get it off. I drove away quickly. Went to Autozone and picked up some stuff that I thought would help. Even the guy at Autozone told me nothing gets rid off Eggstain. Exiting autozone someone tapped my rear bumper. (story for another day).

I got home and washed the front of the car, clayed it. 2 hours later.

AFTER ALL THAT. Even the slight key mark they did was gone with 3M scratch remover.

To the person that egged and keyed me-Please burn in hell.

A funny story for you guys.

I was pulled over Saturday by a local city cop. I was doing 50 in a 35. I saw him but it was too late. He pulled me over and the first thing he said was "NICE CAR". He asked 30 questions about the car. Told me he loved the taillights and foglights. He even said he supports my no front plate. Told me to take it easy because he knows the car is very fast (LOL) and I went on my way.

He could have gotten me for 50 in a 35, dark tints all around, no front plate, no license plate lights and white LED blinkers. Instead he loved everything! E60 FTW!

You're lucky - egg can permanently mar most paint jobs - especially if left to poach in the sun!

I was going to say...just clay it. All this egg and bolgna and these fairy tales passsed down are quite funny. I've been painting for like over a decade and this is just simply not true. Good job and 3M products ROCK right? Made the right choice. You can buy Marine 3M products in bulk and they're top notch quality. Sorry to hear about that but I'm happy to hear you have a good head on your shoulders and rectified it with the quickness.

LOL @ the cop. Fast? lol no way. but definitely sexy car though.

Some folks just love to damage a nice clean car particularly if it's a BMW / Mercedes etc. I've had my fair share of problems parking my E61 M Sport in Le Mans Blue in London, folks just love to dent it, drive into it, leave fast-food packaging etc all over it. My old VW Passat that I use to transport my mountain bikes never get's any negative attention at all. Personally, I just don't understand it....maybe is just plain old jealousy !

oohh man just can't imagine what goes through some peoples minds, just absolute pricks to do that to another mans car. Some of us work our asses off and look after what we have and take care of them only to have some LOSER or LOSERS to come along and do that aahhrrgg, makes me so angry. Glad to hear everything turned out well for you. rock on bro'
