Hey Boob, don't listen to VT haha! Get your car detailed and then tape up the front end with white painters tape or borrow a car bra from somebody. For bimmerfest I'm going to tape up my front end so whatever you know...... Can't wait to see your car!

Iceman - You too! Can't wait to see your car!

Thanks Bing I'll have to give him a call after the San Jose Meet...I'm leaving Friday noon to head up north and don't have time tomorrow. Is your friend's body shop the one on Arroyo Parkway - Collision or some name like that?

after the meet from saturday and today driving to and from san diego, my car needed a good wash. it hasnt been clayed ever so i decided to go to vic at unique in costa mesa. awesome guy and awesome job. i would highly recommend him. i had my car clayed, washed, waxed, engine wash, interior detail, all for a very good price.. plus being a 1st time customer. well vic drives a 650 and says that since around 1989 he's had all bmw's, and owns other shops in addition to his car washing business. well here are some pics. i know with my color, swirl marks and fine scratches arent really noticeable unless seen from up close but after today, most of them were gone. and the interior looked as clean as almost new.

clay, wash, wax is about $95 (20% off if first time customer). interior detail is about $65 with a regular wash, otherwise with a wash its just a wipe down. regular wash is about $15. engine wash is about $40 with a regular wash. wash and wax is about $35. there is some package that is $115 but i forgot what it includes. he really cleans inside and out, even washed all my floor mats. i have to find that brochure. in case you cant see his phone number in the picture, its 714-580-7146. with all the things i had done yesterday, and i was the last car since i came in at around 4, he only charged me $85, plus being a 1st time customer. and i told him that ill spread it to the forums so he said he'll be "looking for e60s referred by nerwyll" haha. for sure i would go to him again.
