Hello,

This was my very first attempt at doing a complete detail on the exterior only. I washed, clayed, washed again, polished, sealant, and waxed. I started this last Tuesday and finished on Thursday but didn't get a chance to take the pictures till today. So the car may seem a bit dirty in some places the rims already have brake dust accumulating. Here's a list of items used:

Car Wash and Dry:
Zaino Z7
Geninue Wool Wash Mitt
Foamaster /w Z7
Zaino Z18 Clay Bar w/ Z6 lubricant
Waffle Weave Microfiber Drying Towel

Rims:
P21S Wheel Cleaner Gel Formula
Boar's Hair Wheel Brush
Foam Applicator Pads
Zaino AIO
Zaino CS -followed by Swissvax Autobahn Wheel Wax after letting Z-CS cure.

Tires and Trim:
Foam Applicator Pads
Adam's V.R.T.
Adam's Undercarriage Spray for the Wheel Wells

Windows:
Adam's Glass Cleaner
Uber Glass MF Towels

Paint (These items are listed in the order I used and applied to the paint):
Zaino Custom Polish Applicator Pads
Zaino Z5 PRO w/ ZFX
Zaino Z6
Zaino Z2 PRO w/ ZFX
Zaino Z6
Zaino CS -let it cure for 24 hours before going on to the next step.
Swissvax Onyx Wax
Zaino Z8 -let the wax cure for 24 hours before applying Z8.

The pictures were taken with a Canon PowerShot SD550. Sorry no before pics only after shots. I welcome all comments, tips, & suggestions. Enjoy!

Looks fantastic! But I'm surprised you didn't need to polish out any swirls.

Zaino is amazing stuff ... especially the new Clear Seal. I have not applied anything on my 550 for 9 months since doing a treatment like you did, and it still beads like new.

Thanks for the comments. Most of it was done in about 7 hours with minor detailing and touch-ups the next day after everything had cured. I used elbow grease although I've been considering getting an orbital buffer hoping it can make the job faster and/or easier. Any recommendations on an orbital brand/model for a beginner? The brakes are OEM they do expel a lot of dust, but I will stick with them till they wear out.

Yeah Z-CS really does last as long as they claim and it so easy to apply too. You know I don't recall seeing any swirls but than again I did apply Z5 which is suppose to hide & fill in imperfections and swirl marks.

Nice You can use AOI, Z-5, Z-2 on the rims to make clean up easy. Brake dust will always show up, making clean up easy is your goal. Hard to use an orbital on Zaino as you only use a little. And get a clear bra on that thing before you start dinging up the front end.
