Cleaning Wood on Dash and Trim

What do you use to clean the wood on the dash and doors, etc. I don't want it all streaked up so I was thinking water is out of the question. Honestly I have no clue what to use so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I just use a microfiber cloth for dusting with nothing on it.
I have some fine scratches that must have been caused by the previous owners attempts and tried the plastic polish to remove them but I haven't spent the time to get it to work.

You can go a little more aggressive with moderately applying Brasso metal polish followed up with the plastic polish. I've used that successfully to remove deeper scratches.

I've found many interior cleaners will leave the streaks as does water usually. But I got my sample pack from Finish Kare (wanted to try a few products I haven't used before) and there interior cleaner 108 Top Kote does an excellent job and leaves no streaks. Cheap also, $16 for 31 oz. will last you a long time.

I use a microfiber towel as well.. Typically, I just use water on the towel then wipe it down with a clean/dry microfiber towel. I also do the same thing to the leather seats...I've had a bad experience with chemicals on my 540i/6's leather seats in the past...
