What do you recommend for cleaning the headlight plastic? Plastic cleaner and plastic polish? Mine have become slightly foggy and have some small dents. I've come over a procedure for the E39 (would probably be the same material as on the E60) that includes using wet sandpaper, but that's a bit heavy duty for a slight fog. However, this procedure recommends Meguiars plastic cleaner and plastic polish to improve the finish. Have anyone tried any specific products for this purpose?

Handbook says don't clean when dry or you'll scratch them, but doesn't recommend a cleaner

I used it to clear foggines out of my old car headlights with great results. Make sure you use some elbowgrease.

Clean the lights first, then use Plexus. In aviation we use it to clean the windscreens, can be found on line or at the General Aviation at your local airport.

If you have any car polish, that your currently using to maintain your autos appearance, feel free to use it on the plastic lens cover. Then seal it up with your wax or sealant......

I use the Meguiars plastic cleaner and polish. My delaer actually stocks it and recommends it. I think it works well.
