To clay or not to clay

My car will be arriving in a few weeks, should I clay before I klausse?

Why not start with the best base possible to protect your new baby? The transport from Germany to your dealer exposes the car's new paint to all sorts of contaminants.

Like BMW#5 says, it's not that much more work to clay ... especially on a new car.

I say clay away.

I plan to next weekend when I pick up my new 550.

Griot's has excellent car care products, but I personally wouldn't use a brush on the painted surfaces of my cars. I've been using the Griot's sheepskin wash/dust mitt for many years with great results:
