Wow, there are lots of different answers here. Maybe you should open a poll to get a better perspective.

I gave up on wax several years ago, it just doesn't last more than one or two months. I use Klasse All-In One paint sealer. It gives a great shine and really does last 6 months. A coat of pure carnauba wax after the Klasse adds some nice depth. For the wax I use P21s.
+1 - this combo works brilliantly, especially if you add 2 more Sealant Glaze coats in between the AIO and the P21s Carnuba, then just Carnuba once every 4-8 washes and the car will superb for years

I'm wondering what brand of car wax people recommend. I live in New England and have a Titanium Silver 530xi, what is the best choice of wax for my color and weather condiions? Thanks for your suggestions.
Whatever brand you choose, I would use the same brand for wax and polishing as some brands have a "system"-a type of wash, a type of polish and a type of wax that compliment each other.

Though not technically a wax, I use Rejex.

I use Adams Butter wax or Auto Machine Wax or a combo of Adams Auto machine polish and Chemical Guys extreme shine cream glaze. or CG Wet mirror finish and adams revive polish. The extreme shine is nice cause it smells like grape!!
