Anyone else have issues with BMW's Noah Car Cover?

I have a hard time deciding whether just to leave the car out in the open or using the car cover. It either collects dust by leaving it out uncovered or the car cover leaves a thin film (streaks) on the car.

I just finished waxing my E60 and I have a hard time keeping it clean for longer than 2 days ... in my area there's 24/7 gardening going on which really adds to all sorts of dust/debree/crap being left on my car. I recently washed my car cover and its still leaving streaks on the car. The streaks come off easily but its an added annoyance :\ Seems I have to choose the lesser of 2 evils.

Yep.

I HAD to use it, since I had to park under lime trees and those trees are damaging the paint. So I bought the cover and had the same issues you have.
Even worse, the lock that goes in the trunk, left a big scratch in my paint when I pulled it to the side.
Anyways, BMW said it is normal, since a car gets dirty and the dust then is on the inside of the cover. The wind that is pulling on the cover leaves the scratches.
However I convinced my dealer to detail my car once in a while for free... which was pretty pointless since they were not got in detailing...
I am now happy to have a garage, since I moved. So the cover is in my trunk and has no more use, unless I am going on vacation... But before that, I clean the cover, both sides of it, and then I clean the car and drive it straight into the garage where I'll pull the cover over it.

I am VERY disappointed by the POOR quality of the BMW car covers.

I had and still have that problem...but the California duster has helped since I got one. Dust before covering, dust after covering - I've reduced my washes ever since!
