There's something about the swiffer duster. I've read another post from someone who used it on his rims and was very enthusastic.

I'm using the Cal Mini Duster most of the time to clean the brake dust off the outside of my rims now instead of the Swiffer which I now use for my interior and to clean behind the spokes of my rims.

The duster is much faster-less than 1 minute per rim.
