Hi,

Not sure why no one mentions about BMW OEM Cleaners and Waxes.. They are not that expensive compared to any Mequiars/Mothers etc.. w/ BMW CCA discount it should be even cheaper. Plus I believe BMW knows whats best for their cars right..

These are what I am planning to buy:

Exterior Wash:
Original BMW Wheel Cleaner Gel 16.91fl. oz. MSRP $6.70
Original BMW Car Wash Shampoo 33.81 fl. oz. MSRP $7.30

Polish & Wax:
Original BMW Express Wax 16.91 fl. oz. MSRP $8.20
Original BMW High Performance Hard Wax with Nano-Technology 16.91 fl. oz. MSRP $26.00

Interior Cleaner & Conditioner:
Original BMW Vinyl Care 6.76 fl. oz. MSRP $8.50
Original BMW Interior Cleaner with Fresh Scent 8.45 fl. oz. MSRP $4.50
Original BMW Leather Care Kit with UV Protection 13.53 fl. oz. MSRP $15.60

Any Experiences on these?

I think a while back, BMW used to use repackaged Sonax products.
Not sure what they use today, but the leather conditioner is VERY good.

From my experience over the last 10yrs or so:
BMW Wheel cleaner - Very good. Similar to P21
Car Shampoo - Very good and mild
Leather Care kit - Again very good. I would say better than Lexol. Absorbed easily and leaves no shiny oily residue. The trick is to clean the leather well before using it.
The waxes are repackaged McGuires (I believe). A few years back BMW had the McGuires in their catalogs. They are good but not impressive. Depending on the color of your car and how often you are willing to wax you can either go for wax (dark colors - wax once a month) or paint sealant (lighter colors or reapply every 4 months).
Interior Cleaner - Average. Leaves no shiny residue. I.e. trims, dash etc keep original texture/feel
Vinyl care - average

All in all, you cant go wrong with them but for that exceptional body look and show car luster you have to look for more specialized products.
