springtime is here so im gonna do a major detail soon. car is black saphire metallic.
this was my plan last time and i liked the results....
wash, clay, wash, S100 (ie; P21) polish, then collinite wax.
looking to replace the collinite and finally give a synthetic a try.
have used s100 wax before and though the result was awesome, it doesnt last long enough for me.
have used nattys blue before and honestly, besides the bubblegum scent (which gets nauseating after a while) didnt see what all the fuss was about....it was ok but nothing spectacular.
so id like to finally try a sealant that i can buy from the local carcare store. (not interested in zaino or poorboys...etc)
is megs nxt good? what about rejex? (that i remember several people on here used to rave about)
any opinions?
thanks

Duragloss you can pick up at Carquest. Haven't tried there sealant but used some of there other products and have been very happy. Most detailers praise there line up as being a solid product.
Otherwise not much OTC sealants out there.
Megs. NXT your asking about people have actually been quite happy with the results but doesn't last very long. On avg. you should expect 4 to 6 weeks.
Mother FX people seem to like also. Though I'm not sure on durability.
Wolfgang 3.0 seems to be getting a bunch of rave reviews over at autopia. Runs around $35 to $40 for a bottle. But you got to order it.

since i'll be using P21S GEPC beforehand, i dont really need anything with a cleaner in it.
and since i cant find anything locally, i'll be ordering from the net.
any other products i should be looking at?

DG105 says on its bottle that its a cleaner/polish. do they make something with no cleaners?

A lot of longtime professional detailers who have used quite a few of the different products on the market are really giving it high praises. You take a look over at autopia and read up on more then you ever wanted to know about sealants or anything dealing with car detailing.
