Hello everybody!
This weekend I met this Audi A4 Avant 3.0TDI Quattro
. I can't recall the model year, but it wasn't too old haha!
Imperfections:
I don't know the exact name for the Audi's white. However, white isn't the best color to hide swirls and scratches, therefore this car needed a little enhancement. The overall look was very clean, but there were few spots that would need a respray, though.
Pads and compounds:
I already knew the Audi clearcoat is hard, so I straightly started with Menzerna PO203S + Lake Country CCS yellow + FLEX PE14-2 combination. The second round was done with Menzerna PO85RD + LC CCS white + FLEX XC 3401 VRG combination to get rid of the possible holograms.
Finishing:
This car is a daily driver, so the owner wanter a good protection for the paint. We decided to put the CarPro CQuartz on it to keep it in condition.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The process:
1) Pre-wash
- Turtle Wax Super detergent wash spray
- Bilt-Hamber Autofoam
2) Wash
- Bilt-Hamber Autofoam
- 2BM + sheepksin mitt
- AutoGlym Intensive Tar Remover
- Wolf's Chemicals Deironizer Decon Gel
3) Claying
- Sonüs Ultra Fine Detailing Clay
- Finish Kare #425 as lubricant
4) Polishing
- FLEX PE14-2 + Lake Country CCS yellow cutting pad + Menzerna PO203S
- FLEX XC 3401 VRG + Lake Country CCS white polishing pad + Menzerna PO85RD
5) LSP
- CarPro CQuartz
6) Others
Tyres:
- Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance Tyre Gel
Wheels:
- Zaino Clear Seal
Windows:
- Maston GT Window wash spray
-----------------------------------------------------------------
(I'm sorry about the varying white balance)
Before everything and the wash

------------------------------------------------------------------
Imperfections and polishing

------------------------------------------------------------------
Sealing and afters

The previous patient of the household was still looking sharp.

Which one doesn't fit the group?
