You could have got the K5.55 + T400 (25 year Jubeliums tarjous) from netanttila.fi for only 20? more... Delivery was 8?!

But, for car washing, the T400 is quite useless!!
I paid 265? and I really don't need a powerwasher to anything else than car washing.

Awesome Job! Looks fantastic.

I just checked out your spring renovation part 3. I like the summer shoes, but you know what I also like the winter setup with 124's.

Thanks. My winter wheels are not OEM 124's, but BBS model RD389 instead. They look much the same as 124's, but they are 17".

Hey Patrick! You should get yourself a clay bar to loose the tough stains like bitumen etc... ! The shops are open on Saturday again !

For example Meguiar's have two resellers in Turku. Check them from here!
And ask for this: Quik Clay Starter Kit

You won't believe how much dirt there might be in the paint even if you can't see it!

I was sweating my ass off (in direct sunlight) while washing the car,
try to wash the car out of direct sunlight, and when the paint is hot.

next step after a proper wash is claying! you wouldn't believe how much dirt is actually stuck to your paint. it's one of the most satisfying things to do, big difference with little effort!

then, if you don't want to attack swirls and scratches (really needs a machine unless you want to use it as a serious work-out), use a cleaner polish to remove oxidation and contaminants and then once the finish is to your liking add a protective layer of wax or synthetic sealant.

it's really rewarding work!

edit: ehum, realize now that anzafin beat me to it with the clay recommendation...

K?rcher power washer, Bilt Hamber Autofoam, foam lance and a cold beer gives you a clean car!

I am amazed at how clean the car got without even touching it with a mitt!

Thanks again Anzafin for the help!!

I just saw your post now!

Clay bar is next on the list, and I was just surfing to Bilt Hamber's site about this. But if I can get it here, then why not!

I will have to go back and re-read your instructions for claying + using Big Orange as lubricant. I have never clayed a car before, but I can see that I need to do it. There is A LOT of crap stuck to my paint.

However, I am motivated!!
