I have used AutoGlym for the body of my E39s (delivery of my E60 535d on Monday). Use first the Super Raisin Polish and for finishing touch the Extra Gloss Protection. The result is superb. I can highly recommend.

I've also been using the Super Resin Polish followed by the Extra Gloss Protection, and the result is long lasting. The car becomes resistant to dirt over a very long time, and cleaning the car after treating it is very easy.

Well, Autoglym has been around since I was a kid. Their Glass polish and tar remover are all pretty good. The rest of the products for paintwork are mostly applied using a buffer or PC, not by hand. Thus only the Pros might know better than the average DIY guy.

I would recommend DIY products such as P21S, Klasse, Zymol which is just a 2 step process.

Well, I am having a Pro go through, the dealer washes have produced a few too many swirl marks, etc. that I did not feel comfortable doing myself.

The guy doing the detailing uses Autoglym, so was curious as to how the product rated. Dropped if off this morning.

I used autoglym many, many years ago. But as I have seen paint technology change over the last 17 years owning and operating my own Mobile Detailing Service @ www.innovativedetailing.com we prefer to use the Meguair's "Detailer" line of products. For a final wax its either Gold Class or NXT the results are awesome.
